Due to the uncertainty around future beach access, the 2020 event is being run on the new overland course. Relay teams be aware the your legs are now 15k, 10k and 8k respectively.
The Cole Murray Cape Kidnappers Trail Run is located in beautiful Hawke’s Bay.
The course is set mostly on private land and includes trails by windswept beaches, native forest, waterfalls, river gorges and stunning coastal farmland. If you haven’t been to Te Kauwae-a-Maui / Cape Kidnappers before, you don’t know what you are missing. The views are simply spectacular!
You can run or walk and the event offers a variety of distances to suit everyone - 32km, 15km or 5km plus a new 21km event. The 32km event can be done as a solo or as a team relay.
Everyone who finishes within race cut off receives a stunning finishers medal.
After the event, why not stay a while and check out one of the many excellent local wineries that the region is renown for, take a tour, enjoy a flat, easy bike ride on one of the many dedicated cycle trails or just kick back and relax.
